ATTENTION

Applicants are required to complete a civil scan BEFORE being considered for employment.  Every bus driver must serve as a substitute driver before becoming a permanent bus driver. 

 

Applicant must be at least 21 years of age and possess a high school diploma or GED, a valid Louisiana Driver's License, be able to pass a DOTD physical, drug screen and a criminal background check. Must be able to establish and maintain positive working relationships with school stakeholders, state and federal agencies and the general public. Certification classes will be held. Contact the Transportation Department 337-217-4330 with questions concerning the certification classes.
