**ATTENTION**

In order to be considered for employment as a substitute teacher/paraprofessional, you must complete the following steps:

1. Complete the online application. 
2. Complete the background check for the Calcasieu Parish School Board.  Background checks from other agencies/organizations are not accepted.  Background checks must be initiated through the Personnel Department before applicants report to the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office.
3. Once steps 1 and 2 are complete, submit the following documents in person to the Personnel Department at 3310 Broad Street.

• Social Security Card
• Proof of High School Diploma or 4 year College Degree or Teaching Certificate
• Voided Check for Direct Deposit
